One YA Paranormal Author’s Vacation to Europe

Dear 2016,

You have been good to me so far. Already this year, I have hit many writing goals, been promoted at my day job, and spent nearly a month in one of the most beautiful countries on the planet: Europe.

Over our trip, we went to Canada, saw the icy Greenland tundra from an airplane, pushed our way through the crowd at the Louvre to take a picture of the prestigious Mona Lisa, adventured through Cheddar Gorge, toured the Cardiff Castle in Wales, navigated the subway all over PIMG_7357.jpgaris, got lost in the middle of the night in London while navigating the Tube, visited Oxford University, stayed in the center of Paris, traveled to the top of the Eiffel Tower during a cold windy day, saw the Stone Hedge, toured Notre Dam, attended Disney Land Paris, and traveled to Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury, Wells, and many other beautiful cities/ attractions throughout the United Kingdom.

IMG_6455.jpgIt was (and I repeat) an experience of a LIFETIME. I absolutely adored our vacation to Europe. It was a great reset, and a reminder to cherish your time with your loved ones. Every so often, it’s nice to unplug and really live in the moment. That’s exactly what we did.

Over the next few months, I have many works-in-progress to finish, two weddings to participate in, and several others goals on my to-do list. But nothing fueled me more than that amazing time away with the love of my life.

So thank you, 2016, for all the beautiful memories. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds!

Love always,

Ashlee
